Day 2 - Toothless Grin

Connor has had a pretty busy year (2011) for teeth. He's been a late bloomer for teeth. He was 10mo old before his first tooth finally popped through. And he was 6yrs old (almost 7) when he lost his first tooth. And that wasn't even done naturally! He adult tooth on the bottom popped through behind his baby tooth, and after a few weeks of trying to get that baby tooth out, I gave up and took him to the dentist. His 2nd tooth nearly had to be pulled by the dentist too (same reason - adult tooth came in behind). But we got it out (with LOTS of work).

Needless to say - Connor's experience with teeth is abnormal, to say the least.

However, a couple days after Christmas, his top tooth finally felt loose enough and Tom was able to yank it out. I have to say - as far as teeth go: this was the most normal tooth loss that he's had. His adult tooth is even coming in in the correct hole! Yay Connor! lol

The funniest thing about all of this (in my opinion)? The GIANT hole left in his face, lol. He had nicely spaced baby teeth, so when he lost the top tooth - it left this gaping hole (that causes a small lisp - too stinkin cute!)

That's all for today! See you tomorrow!
Jen
